The UET, Lahore has a very active Campus Life Providing full opportunities to the students for full participation in Creative, Recreational as well as  Educational activities.

For this purpose their are a Number of Student Societies working in the Campus, some of them are as follows:

 IEEE ( Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers) 

The world's renowned society for electrical engineers has one of the highest number of members amongst other regional student chapters in UET Lahore. 

IEE (Institute of Electrical Engineers)

IEE has also put up its office in UET ,which by arranging Lectures and Seminars on various topics of Electronics is trying to help & assist the Future Electrical Engineers.

Khwarzimic SCIENCE SOCIETY

The Khwarzimic Science Society, the most innovative science society in the Sub-Continent, plays a very active role in UET, Lahore by arranging  series of lectures & seminars on a large number of topics covering almost all Engineering Technologies.

For a Clear thinking and understanding a young mind need recreation along with the studies. The Recreation Society is trying its best to achieve this goal in UET by arranging various trips, picnics & musical functions etc.. 

Environmental Society :-

For a good educational atmosphere, a good environment is important . The UET environmental society is working hard to keep the University clean & green to build a perfect environment for the Engineers.

S.M.I.E ( Society of Mechanical & Industrial Engineers) :-

S.M.I.E. is a active solution and facility provider for Mechanical Engineers and other Engineers of related fields.... by providing them assistance in various topics of today's Industry.

Debating Society :-

The Debating Society provides platform for the young Engineers to express themselves .....by arranging various debating functions on various topics.

Literary Society:-

The Literary Society arranges various functions on the basis of  literature & poetry... it arranges student gatherings and encourages the students to come forward and take part in functions related to literature.... and it encourages the interested participants to take part in these functions to exhibit their literary qualities.

Blood Donors Society :-

The Blood Donors Society works in the University on humanitarian grounds... by arranging Blood on emergency basis for students and their relatives ......it also organizes free blood test for all the students who wish to participate in this humanitarian purpose.

Dramatic Society :-

Another society providing students the opportunities to express their artistic abilities.

NETSOC (The Networking Society) :-

Working for the computer networking knowledge development amongst the students by arranging various lectures on different topics of the related field.

UET Research Journal :-

The Comprehensive compilation of the students and faculty research projects. A true guide to the research activities in UET and all over the world.

ECHO MAGAZINE:-

A students Gazette representing students expressive writings, essays, poems etc....thus giving the students a full opportunity to express themselves and show their creative abilities through their words of expressions.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES:-

Various Sporting Activities are held in UET campus, inter-hostel and inter-departments tournaments in various major sports are held regularly to enhance the students interests in various sports, good sports men are also encouraged to participate in the inter-University tournaments thus representing their institution proudly ,on the national as well as international grounds.
